Taiwo interests Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are one of several clubs circling on-loan QPR leftback, Taye Taiwo, according to the player’s agent.

Speaking to Milannews.it - website of Taiwo’s parent club AC Milan -  Fabio Parisi, said:

“Tottenham on Taiwo? There is an interest, let’s see if it will turn into a negotiation. In any case there is not just Tottenham, that would be an agreable destination, but also other foreign clubs. We’ll have to wait until the end of the season, then we’ll see”.

A Nigerian international with 53 caps for his country, Taiwo joined AC Milan from Marseille in the summer of 2011, but after finding chances limited at the San Siro – ‘In Italy the fans didn’t believe in me and I was often criticized’, he said upon leaving – the 25-year signed for QPR in the January transfer window, where he has gone on to make five appearances for Mark Hughes’ relegation battling side.
