Etuhu expects to see the Fulham door
Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu expects to leave Craven Cottage this summer after falling out of favour with Fulham manager Martin Jol.
Etuhu, 29, is a Nigerian International footballer who has spent his whole career in England, with spells at Manchester City, Preston North End, Norwich, Sunderland, and most recently Fulham. He is vastly experienced and has 17 International caps and over 300 competitive appearances. However, he has only made 6 League appearances under Martin Jol and expects to be made available for transfer at the end of the season.
Etuhu said “Things didn’t work between me and the coach and I believe I will leave in the end of the season”. Etuhu would not be the first player to leave Craven Cottage as Martin Jol attempts to mark his own stamp on the side. Bobby Zamora was transferred to Queens Park Rangers during the transfer window despite being a regular performer for Fulham over the years, and Dickson Etuhu now expects a similar fate.
