Terry to not stand down as England skipper

johnterry 150x84 Terry to not stand down as England skipperChelsea and England captain will not stand down as England captain, despite widespread calls for him to do so, in light of his ongoing trial, whereby he faces charges of racial abuse.

In news just in this morning, the BBC quotes an ‘unnamed’ source who is close to Terry, who has stated that the defender has no intention to step aside from the England captaincy role.

However, should Terry be found guilty, it is almost assured that the Football Association will act and strip him of the national team captaincy.

    English press should leave John Terry alone. Have you people now become the judge and persecutors at the same time?. You are killing your own. What is that that Terry said? Have you people now found Terry guilty even when the judge have not said so? All those canvassing for Terry to be strip of the England armband are just been envious of Terry’s achievements and leadership quality. By the way they talk, one can see there motive. Whoever said that Terry captaining England in Euro will cause a problem is just dreaming. Is that what the England squad said? Let English press desist from bringing there own down. Terry is not guilty until prove otherwise by court. Thanks.

    Imagine what d english media ar doing to a leader like terry,he has gone through a worse situation with bridge but kept his quality and leadership.therefor i hurg d english press to find out why d english team av not being successfull in recent years, and stop crying over split terry story.
