arshavin 150x114 Arshavin committed to Gunners causeArsenal‘s Andrey Arshavin who was the subject of an 11th hour enquiry on transfer deadline day from big spending Russian outfit Anzhi, has vowed to stay with the North London side until at least the end of this season.

Arshavin, Arsenal’s record signing, has failed to live up to his expensive transfer fee since joining the Gunners, but the player is determined to help Arsenal’s cause, as they battle to finish in the top four this season.

Rejecting the approach from Anzhi, Arshavin instead is focused on helping Arsenal succeed in the FA Cup and Champions League as well as recover the 5 point deficit they have on fourth placed Chelsea in the Premier League.

    I don’t blame Arshavin because he is doing the bidding of his master. Wenger does not want him to go. I don’t know why they have refused to sell him now that he still has value. At the end of the season, no club might come for him and Wenger will continue to play him as he ‘loves’ him. So sad
