Sturridge disillusioned with life at Stamford Bridge
22 year old Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is being reported by The Times newspaper as becoming increasingly disillusioned with life at Stamford Bridge, with the paper reporting that he may seek a move elsewhere.
The article alleges that Sturridge is becoming frustrated at Chelsea due to his lack of opportunities to play as a centre forward and this news is sure to spark interest from Liverpool, who have in the past been linked with the former Manchester City man.
Sturridge who spent part of last season on loan with Bolton, where he scored 8 goals in 12 appearances, has broken into the first team this season at Chelsea, becoming a regular, having already found the back of the net 9 times.
Manager Andre Villas-Boas will no doubt want to keep hold of Sturridge, who at 22 appears to have a great future in the game.
Sturridge won his first England cap in November 2011 when he came off the bench as a second half substitute against Sweden at Wembley.

wat else does daniel want?hop dis is not some fake story, cause going to mancity he cannever bench aguero, dzeko and balloteli, moving to liverpool he cannever bench luis suarez and dirk kuyt even andy caroll and craig bellamy, except if he wants to go to lowly rated teams, chelsea have sacrificed alot for him this season he should not be an ingrate, lucas piazon, lukaku, lalkovic and other youngsters will b pleased to take the position, ofcourse this are times kalou plays well.

something must be wrong with sturridge. He is one of the few chelsea players who play 90mins week in week out. some excellent strikers like David villa, robinho, anelka, w. Rooney n sometimes Suarez are played out of central striking position and are happy as long as they play about 90mins every game. If he continues complaining, then it is better to let him go coz it’s not good 2 keep an unhappy player in a club.

Anyone tht believes Danny sturridge is disillusioned at Chelsea is as big a fool as the ppl at the times!! He ain’t going nowhere. One Chelsea would price him outta a move away and two he knows he’ll get his chance to play centre forward wen he gets more experienced. If you think Danny should leave then your not a proper Chelsea fan because he will become a major asset for us.

there are also other player who needs to play, beside Torres remain on the bench for a couple of times but he dont complain and he is better than him even only that he is unlucky when it come to goal scoring for the moment….. sturridge must think twice before

this guy. first off, i dont put much faith in these reports. the only club who would match his wages at chelsea are city….where he’d face the exact same problem…city have aguero, dzeko and ballotelli playing the central attacking roles…he’d be stuck out wide there. liverpool, seriously doubt they’d pay him the 100k he wants (he’s on 80k now). further more…before he can bitch, complain and demand more money..he needs to learn what a pass and what a cross is. he may have scored 9 goals…but i could count 9 chances where he could have simply squared the ball to a teammate for an easy goal…but instead decided to take an absurd shot which of course missed. secondly, playing central forward in the chelsea set up requires the ability to play with your back to goal…havent seen him show these signs yet. playing wide right where he can run at smaller defenders one on one and come inside onto his preferred left foot (the guy has no right foot, lets be honest) has certainly helped him score those 9 goals. if chelsea decide on a 4 4 2, than fair enough, play him up front. as long as we are in a 4 3 3…he better get used to playing wide right. come on chelsea!!!!!
