QPR target joins PSG
Queens Park Rangers have missed out on another potential signing as Chelsea‘s Alex, a known target of QPR’s opts to join Paris Saint Germain.
New QPR boss Mark Hughes is desperate for reinforcements at the back as he tries to fulfill his brief – keeping Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.
He will not be bitterly despondent to have missed out on Brazilian defender Alex, who completed a £4.2million switch to Paris yesterday, as he has already brought in powerhouse defender Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City.
At just £4.2million Alex is a bargain for PSG, who have pulled out of the race to sign want-away Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez. The bulky defender adds stature and composure at the back, and is also a real danger in the final third.
