Lazio interested in Arshavin

The Daily Mirror this morning is reporting that Italian Serie A side Lazio are interested in signing Arsenal‘s Andre Arshavin who is contracted to the Gunners until 2013.

The Mirror reports that Lazio are prepared to outlay £6 million on Arsenal’s record transfer signing, but it is not known whether Arsenal would be prepared to allow the 30 year old leave for this price.

It could well be a case of Arsenal cutting their losses and allowing Arshavin to leave now, recouping at least some of the fee that they outlaid on the Russian international.
