Forest receive bid from Leicester for Wes Morgan
Nottingham Forest have received a bid from fellow NPower Championship side Leicester City, for their 27 year old defender, Wes Morgan.
Morgan who is a product of the Forest Youth Academy has been regular in the Forest first team since making his league debut with Forest as a 19 year old back in 2003.
The bid from Leicester City is believed to be in the region of £500,000 and Forest may decide to accept it, as Morgan is out of contract in the summer.
Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham, Forest’s manager Steve Cotterill said:
“A bid has been made and is being discussed. We’ll think about where we go from here. In and amongst it all will be Wes’s thoughts and feelings, but what we can’t have is a situation that happened with Kelvin Wilsonwhere potentially a player leaves here out of contract.”
