Cole keen to make French move permanent

Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole who is currently enjoying a season long loan with French Champions and Cup holders Lille, would like to make the move to France permanent once the loan deal runs it’s course.

Cole has revived his career since moving to Lille in August and according to his Lille team mate Rio Mavuba, the former Chelsea and West Ham mifielder would like to make the move permanent at the end of the current campaign.

With Mavuba quoted as saying:

“I think Joe really wants to stay because he takes pleasure playing for this team.”
