Chelsea linked with Real Madrid ace

stamfordbridgeweststand 150x84 Chelsea linked with Real Madrid aceReports in Spain are linking Chelsea with a £34.7million bid for Real Madrid’s Argentinean winger Angel Di Maria.

The reports have emanated from Spanish newspaper Marca which is usually reliable when it comes to affairs in Spain’s big two. They claim that Di Maria is currently unsettled at Madrid, not least because he does not feel properly remunerated for the contribution that he makes to the team, especially when compared to the salaries of some of his teammates.

Di Maria would be a superb addition to the Chelsea lineup and a front three including Di Maria and Juan Mata would be about as scary as you could build for defenders.

However, whether Real Madrid would accept the offer considering how integral he is to the way they play (in terms of assists at least) is doubtful. That said Real would be nearly doubling their outlay on Di Maria from the Summer 2010 and they are said to be looking at other targets including Edin Hazard.

Di Maria is understood to be keen to speak with Chelsea officials over a potential move should Real and Chelsea agree a few. However, if the move is solely motivated by money, perhaps he should consider Gary Cahill’s recent difficulties in negotiating terms!

    That’s very nice move i think we need dis type of player who can hold ball n give killer pass a good skills n vision to complete the finishing. It’ll also help fernando torres to gain his fitness. Good luck for chelsea fc n Good move for de maria as well.

    well, to me chelsea should not say they will not sell Angel Dimaria for them. Anything can happen, it is going to be a money market.

    Pls mouhrino, let dis boy come 2 chelsea.he will be a perfect partnering of Torres,Mata,or Sturridge in a 4-3-3 formation dat we are playing.dis guy need 2 be playing regularly and madrid can’t guarantee him dat so,he need it.a perfect addition to our team.up chelseaaaaa!!! Blues 4 life!!!!.
