Bosingwa set to join la revolution at PSG

stamfordbridge2 150x75 Bosingwa set to join la revolution at PSGChelsea defender Jose Bosingwa could be set to follow former teammate Alex to Paris Saint-Germain according to the Daily Mail.

Alex joined the cash rich Ligue 1 outfit yesterday in a £4m deal and it appears the 29 year old right back is set to join him at the Parc des Princes before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

The Portugal international is out of contract in the summer and despite reports late last year suggesting a new deal would be offered to the full-back, it appears he could be set for a reunion with former blues boss Carlo Ancelotti as he prepares another raid on the West London club.

Chelsea will be looking to recoup some of the £16.3million they paid to Porto for his services in 2008 and a cut price deal similar to the fee accepted for Alex looks likely.

Bosingwa put pen to paper on a three-year deal after the 2008 European Championships and joined along with Portugal national team boss Luiz Felipe Scolari and fellow international Deco. He has made 86 appearances for Chelsea scoring three times.

Marseille right back Cesar Azpilicueta has already been earmarked as a replacement for Bosingwa after an impressive season under former Blues player Didier Deschamps, but Chelsea would have to pay around £15m for the Spaniard.

The 22 year old is believed to be open to a move to Stamford Bridge, but is still contracted with the Ligue 1 outfit until 2014 and the French side are not interested in selling just yet.

  2. Sam should be given the chance. By the way, how can these players mature if they don’t get playing times as should be arsenal or man u? The likes of sam, betrand, piazon n more should be given time in the ongoing young new generation of chelsea recruits. Up Blues

  3. Avb should learn from other coaches especially Ferguson, who most times includes young players on his first eleven list in a match ,doing this will prompt for competition among the players in the reserve. Please buy some creative players to add to our team and sell those ones who are of no importance to Chelsea anymore …true blues fan
