Arsenal hit by major blow prior to visit of Man United
Arsenal have been hit by a further injury blow prior to the visit of Manchester United on Sunday, when both teams face off in the Premier League.
Loan signing Thierry Henry has joined Mikel Arteta, Thomas Vermaelen and Bacary Sagna as a doubt for the game, with the Frenchman pulling out of training in the week, with a suspect calf injury.
The potential loss of Henry from the game on Sunday, is a major headache for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who is eager for revenge against United, who ran riot during the corresponding fixture at Old Trafford in August.
Henry has had a scan on his calf and Arsenal are hopeful that the results returned will show that it is not badly injured, thus allowing him enough time to rest before Sunday, so as he is fit and available for selection.

Wenger will only succeed in one thing and that 2 turn Arsenal to just an average mid table football club.

Is anyone really surprised We are a mid table team now and all the in arsene we trust brigade must take a look at themselves now, their insistence on keeping a spent force has killed the club. We need a manager and board who can move with the modern game and not stagnate a our present lot have! Maybe they should say let’s not take our bonus this year and invest in some work class established players!

Under wenger, arsenal has become worse over the years. This is so obvious to all. Top players want to leave; van Persie is non-commital. Players get injured for long period. Buy cheapsales and reject players from other clubs. NOW, not winning 4th place is NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL. YOU CALL THIS A WORLD CLASS FOOTBALL CLUB? Stop deceiving the fans.

How does loosing a 34 year old a major blow – papering over the cracks.
Obviously all the injuries put together makes us very weak, but at the end of the day this squad has so much dross in it, dead wood.
Aliminum, Flappy, DJ, Squid, Arsh, Santos, Park, chamakh
combined with the treatment table regulars – Diaby, Gibbs, Rosicky and VM
put that together with the bad form of Ramsey since he got the Wales armband and we are in serious shit.
Wenger inherited a great team added some more quality and now him and the board has let it turn into a mid table embarassement.
So much needs to change – were do you start !!!!

Why dont be actually buy some known players who can score and play good football? Why does he have to bering old poeple back who are more likly to get injured? I dont get it. The only really good signing Arsenal have made is Arteta. Thats it. I think we need to sign some big players like Tevez (even tho his wage is really high) or Neymar and get some decent full backs. The club turns over so much money and have HUGE investers!

its a pity arsenal produces good players only to sale them to big clubs, can arsene try 2 compare the squad he had in 03-04 season and see where he is wrong!!

Probably ‘acclimatization’ means when all available players are injured and Park gets the chance to play. Will he(Park) starts for the very first time.
Pray…Pray…Pray!
