Wigan v Chelsea match preview

Wigan with two wins out of their last three games would no doubt be hoping they were not facing a resurgent Chelsea tomorrow as they strive to pull out of the bottom three.

Chelsea who have qualified for the Champions League knock out stage and who gave Manchester City’s first defeat in the Premier League this season last week at Stamford Bridge will be brimming with confidence.

Wigan give a late fitness test to Antolin Alcaraz whilst goalkeeper Chris Kirkland could return to the bench after suffering a back injury.

Chelsea have David Luiz back from suspension and other than Michael Essien who is out until at least the middle of next month, have no injury concerns.

Sorry Wigan, but a potential goal fest is on the cards here and I can see Chelsea winning by two or three goals. Away win.
