Bullard suspended by Hull City

Record signing and highest wage earner at the KC Stadium, Jimmy Bullard, has been suspended by his club Hull City, pending an inquiry into recent events.

According to BBC Radio Humberside the breach of club discipline that Bullard is alleged to have committed occurred during Hull’s recent tour of Slovenia.

Hull have also released an official statement on their website concerning Bullard’s suspension which reads:

“Hull City AFC can confirm that Jimmy Bullard has been suspended pending an enquiry into recent events. The club will be completing the investigation before making any further comment.”

The club does not allude to or elaborate on what Bullard supposedly did or didn’t do to warrant the investigation.

Hull have been trying to move on Bullard, who was bought when they gained promotion to the Premier League. However, the club no longer can afford or warrant his £45,000 a week wages and have so far been unsuccessful in tempting teams to take the player off their hands.
